hello sir,
One of my client have sold Electronics goods to IIT Institution.....he made a payment to him while deducting tds .......can he deducted the TDS while maiking payment to my client......its come under which section

For supply of goods TDS wont apply. incase its contract nature alongwith labour work the TDS will apply on labour portion if bills are raised separately

Tds not apply on purchase, so no need to deduct TDS.
