the person who is owning the said profession is Non resident as per Indian Income Tax.... right?

the interpretation of such a BEAUTIFUL language of the question is as follows:
A non resident has a profession in Canada. This person has set up in Patna......
the income earned out of "Patna set up" is taxable in india even though the person is non resident.

but a per ans of ca institute the income is exempt from tax

that means it is more of a test of english language than income tax......from exam point of view..... by heart such a language and the answer as expected by ICAI
