02 November 2011 please tell me the taxability on web site development services. if one indian website development company prepare a website for any foreign company then what will be his liability for Service Tax, Sales Tax, Excise and Income Tax. Urgent.

03 November 2011 Dear Mr. Goyal,

There is NO liability of excise and sales tax on web development services.

There shall be No service tax liability if receipts are below 10 lakhs .

Off course you shall be liable to pay Income Tax on income earned by you.
