16 March 2014 Whether stipend received by CA Article is exempt from income tax? please qoute section with explanation.

16 March 2014 there is a very old case which held that stipends given to cover the cost of education are exempt...but I dont think it as such hold good...my firm deducted TDS under Section 192..certain firms prefer 194J
