22 February 2014 Is debenture interest taxable in the hands of an assessee? If so at what rates? what are the exemptions available?

22 February 2014 yes it is taxable. rate shall vary from assessee to assessee (ie for company it will taxed at 30%, in individual's case it shall be included in slab rates).
