I mean to ask
whether rebate of 2000 rupees is to be deducted from tax before calculation of education cess or after calculation of cess.
tax 20000
less. rebate 2000
balance 18000
add cess 540
tax liability 18540
is it correct?

claim relief after calculation of cess.
