The lunch coupons(Sodexo-Rs1,300per month)which is given by XYZ Co.to their staff(from Asst.Manager onwards)is not exchangeable in the office canteens and not utilising in between office hours.
My question is whether the Employees will get Tax Exemption on such coupons and is there any benefit to the company too?

Food coupons used during office hours only exempted up to Rs.50 per meal. others are not exempted
