What is the procedure of filling income tax return?

In case of an assessee whose accounts are not under audit can file return manually also. However, the system of e-filing is now polpular and convenient. You may visit the following siteto know all about e-filing of a return by registering the PAN of the assessee -

First prepare your computation. If you are a new tax return filer then you have to do the following formalities
1) Go to incometaxindiaefiling site
2) Creat an account by giving your PAN date of birth and creat a pass word
3) SDown load the form applicable to you
5) Fill up the form
6) Generate the XML file
7) Upload the xml file
8) Sign the acknowledgement generated and send it to Banglore CPC after your signature
