I want to ask about that A Proprietorship firm wants to take TAN no., then I want to ask that in TAN form what we have to fill in Applicants Name - either Proprietors Name or firm name.
It dont have PAN no. in name of Firm.
Please reply soon...

it depends solely on your desire,
if he has only one firm than he can take it on the name of firm also but
i advise my clients to take it in their personal name,
because if they have other ventures in future with separate proprietary firms than they will have to deduct tax on the same TIN
so better to have it in personal name,
but one can take it in the name of concern, there is no bound on this subject.
