25 September 2012 Hi I have one doubt. If a person started business with goods of Rs.50000, in which voucher I have to enter this and what will be the journal entry? Please give me the answer

Sir I tried this but I created stock in trade ledger and I am not getting that in the journal voucher, it is finding in the list of ledger.

25 September 2012 go through journal. open stock in trade account under stock group and pass the entry as stock intrade to capital. ELSE you have another option.... at the opening date put the balances of capital and stock in trade (a reserved group in tally) while creating the account masters.
