Respected Sir,
One of our client discontinued his business w.e.f 01.04.13, hence he want to surrender his Tan Number.
He filed all tds returns till March 2013 and nil returns for the current year till date (3 Quarter).
Kindly reply at the utmost.

you need to write to the TDS AO for that...no standard format...simple application on letterhead should suffice.
