Surrender of certificate

I have already submitted the request for surrender of ST- 2 but it is still showing as pending. so how i can further proceed towards surrender of certificate.

i hope you take receipt of surrender of RC of service tax. you can contact to your range.

it will take effect from the date of request. You need to wait. May be some liability might be pending, according to ST dept and hence the status is PENDING
