Make a request letter to the commissioner along with the original service tax registration certificate. before that you have to clear your service tax liability.

Procedure to surrender online is as follows:- 1. log in to www.aces.gov.in 2. Click REG 3. Click surrender 4. ST-2 will be displayed 5. Click on ST-2 6. Fill up name of surrendering authority and reason for surrendering in the coloumn provided in the apperaing window. 7. Click the button surrender ST-2 8. Your registration will be surrendered.
