Suppliers not typing my VAT TIN NO on their bills

07 July 2010 Dera All,
Some of my suppliers are not typing my VAT TIN NO on their TAX INVOICE.Now that from 1st may 2010 it is mandatory to put the same for me to collect input tax.But since they are not typing can I put my VAT TIN NO RUBBER STAMP instead.

Please advise immediately

07 July 2010 With out TIN they cannot charge VAT. If they are not typing, insists for the same. you cannot type your TIN
