03 December 2012 Student acting MD of a company is required to take permission of council of ICAI, if he/she wants to undergo articleship

04 December 2012 Yes he may incorporate a company and act as the Managing Director of such Company.

However, as rightly pointed out by Amol ji, regarding undergoing Articleship in such company he needs to obtain permission of council of ICAI.

Pnly problem will be that if company fails to substantiate payment made to student then IT dept. may disallow the payment made to such MD.
