Dear Sir's
Our company manufacturing goods in Madhya Pradesh & Now we want to open one depot in maharashtra. We will transfer goods from factory(M.P) to Warehouse in Maharashtra. In this case what is the procedure for open warehouse in Maharashtra & what is the procedure & books we will have to follow or maintain.
Please Guide.

1) This will be treated as Stock Transfer
2) First of all get the vat & CST registration in Maharashtra.
3) Get other licenses as required based on the products.
4) Inventory records to be maintained.

5)F Forms to be obtained from Maharashtra commercial taxes department to submit at MP Commercial taxes department for the stock transfer value.
