21 September 2012 i am doing articles at a firm..this is just my 3rd week..i have just submitted details for regstratn..nw my question is

1.do i get any income before they register me?

21 September 2012 In form 103 from which date you indicated commencement of articleship such date will be consider by the ICAI as commencement of your articleship and also you are eligible for stipend from such date. I.e so you get stipend for the period before they register but you will receive it from the employer after the registration intimation received by the employer from ICAI only. Because non-acceptance of articleship by the ICAI no employer shall pay stipend however some of the employers may pay prior to receive such intimation but student have to refund in case registration not accepted by the ICAI due to the difficult of student.

Your articleperiod will be commence from the date mentioned in Deed of article and you will be entitled to receive as stipend from that date.

Before that period it will not be considered as stipend.
