21 January 2013 Dear Experts,

Please advice on the following:

1) We are into the educational institutions should we register for Service TAX.

If yes on what grounds.

--- We are providing education services( Under Trusts),Other overhead expenses we are
having includes Transport payments, Directors remuneration,Local conveyance etc..

21 January 2013 Do you have 12A registration ?
and from the above it is not clear the service which you are providing., if the negative list contains the service which you provide and 12 A registration ., then you need not register.
and also where does directors remuneration come from in Trusts?
