Is it mandatory to file ST1 in Gujarat online also, if we are submitting it manually?

Online filing of ST 1 is mandatory and hard copy along with enclosures to be manually filed in the Jurisdictional service tax office.

Yes it become mandatory in any state. now department will not accept any manual application. After filing on line registration it necessary to submit ST-1 and acknowledgement at jurisdictional service tax department.
