On 10/02/2014 I was holding 100 shares of ICICI Bank. On 11/02/2014 I purchased another 100 shares of ICICI Bank and sold the same on 11/02/2014 @ Rs.500 profit. Whether profit earned will be treated as speculative gain or short term gain.

It is treated as speculative gain(sold on the same day of buying).
