02 March 2011 We want to import solar water heater system from USA . The same will be sold to our clients.
Question- 1) what are the custom duty that is applicable on the transaction.
2) is there any benefit from govt in promoting green energy system.
3) is vat applicable on sale of system in west Bengal.

I am not sure of the above code. It is given on various websites. My supplier is converse with Indian customs law and is not able to help us on this.
