Plese let me know, for software sale whether VAT or service tax needs to be taken while billing.

Further how to bill if its CST sale

03 July 2008 in a sale transaction only VAT will be applicable. it can be full rate of tax as applicable in that particular state from where you sold and/ or against a statutory forms with concessional rate and issue a invoice
