Hi,
I start my office and for renovation I have paid for electric fitting, paint, cctv and celling exp. I want to know under which head I should make a entry in tally for these expenses.

if office is your own than renovation you can capitalized under electrical equipment and building.

My real question was:

You can Book it under "Fixed Assets Head" or "Repairs & Maintenance"

Dear Faishal,
Seggrigate like this....All the expenses made on renovation of building is your expense and book this under repair & maint.
All the electrical item expenses like cctv, fans, lcd, ac, cooler , exhust will be capitalized under fixed assets sub head electrical equipment or office equipment.
