I donated an amount to an organization that offers 125% exemption from Income Tax of India under section 35, while filing my return where can I show this donation and exemption. I think the 80G section may not be suitable

You have not mentioned the sub-section. However, it is possible to claim the deduction via Schedule BP. Have a look at Item No 29 of the said schedule. . You are rightly thinking about 80G. When higher deduction is available, Section of lower deduction will never suit. .

Thank you for your reply. I am a salaried employee I think I won't be able to claim the 125% exemption; the exemption will be restricted to 100% u/s 80gga for me, is this correct?

First check from the receipt whether the said payment is eligible for deduction U/s 80GGA. . As per Section 80GGA (3) you may claim the deduction if other conditions are satisfied. .
