04 September 2011 Hye all experts ...i am the excise incharge of a manufacturing co.Excise department isuee a show cause notice halfyearly on freight and insurance.The supreme court is declared that if assesse add F&I amount in sale bill then no excise duty raise on F&I amount i attach the supreme court copy against reply of Show Cause,But excise department issuee every halfyearly showcause.This case is pending last 5 years.please give a suugestion how i solve this case.

04 September 2011 The dept may have filed an appeal against a case which you have referred or which they feel is akin to theirs. In themeantime to save from limitation they are issuing SCN. Hope you have taken anexpert in IDT for drafting toensure that no point is missed out.

04 September 2011 Just comply with the notice and attend the office of the concerned officer and find out what is the problems and why they are issuing notice from time to time.

23 September 2011 Thanks sir for gvng me reply .....but i drafted a letter against SCN Reply through experter but till now the department issuee the SCN.....
