27 August 2012 Can u pls list me the authorities & any others who are to be informed after the shifting of registered office of a company & completion of roc formalities?

27 August 2012 Please clarify ur querry whether shifting inside city or upon juridiction of another registrar of companies or out of state.

27 August 2012 After shifting of any kind....

25 July 2025 After shifting the **registered office of a company**, and completing the required **ROC formalities**, you must **intimate various authorities and stakeholders**. The exact steps vary depending on whether the move is **within the same city**, **within the same ROC**, or **to another state**, but **the post-ROC intimation list is largely the same**.

### โœ… **Authorities/Departments to be Informed After Shifting Registered Office:**

### ๐Ÿข 1. **Income Tax Department**

* Update new address in:

* **PAN database** (via Form 49A on NSDL or UTI portal).
* **Income Tax e-Filing Portal** under โ€œProfile Settings.โ€

### ๐Ÿ’ผ 2. **Goods & Services Tax (GST)**

* Amend **core fields** (Principal Place of Business) via GST portal.
* Submit:

* **New address proof** (e.g. rent agreement or electricity bill).
* **Board Resolution** if required.

* File **Form 49B** to update address with NSDL/UTI.
