Serving of supplementary articles under any principal

My articles are getting over this month and I have to serve excess leave for almost 4 - 5 months . My query is should i serve the excess leave under the same principal or can i switch over to another one . In case I can, are there any restrictions on the same and can someone pls guide me thru the procedures involved . .

The excess leaves can be served under any other CA.
