Service Tax under GTA

11 May 2011 One of our Client is into Freight Forwarding Business, having registered himself under Service Tax as "Business Auxiliary Services".
He has engaged the Services of Transporter to transport the Goods from one place to another. The Transporter (GTA) has raised the Invoice to our Client (as Consigor) & in thier Invoice mentioned that the Service Tax @ 25% on Bill Amount to be Payable by our Client (i.e. Consignor) directly to the Govt.
The Query is : - Can our Client by paying the Tax in Cash as Consignor claim as Input Credit for his Output Services?.

consignor can not claim input credit of GTA

as outward services does not qualify as input services.
