I wanted to know when will be service tax E-return file mandatory?

04 October 2011 From 01/10/2011and onwards all service tax returns has to be filed electronically.

04 October 2011 Sir,
I heard if Service Tax liability is above Rs.10,00,000/- then E-Filing is mandatory, but i want to do nil return file then also i have to do e-return file if yes then pls. suggest me how to do nil return file?

05 October 2011 Log onto www.aces.gov.in and Click 'Service Tax' Link on top menu bar
If you are registered with ACES, use your username and password to log-in
Select your return from RET menu and submit self-assessed return online
If not registered with ACES, furnish e-mail ID of the authorized person to your Range officer and an e-mail with T-PIN (Temporary User ID) and Password will be sent to enable you to register with ACES. If you do not receive e-mail, please check spam mail folder or contact Range Officer
Thereafter, you can log-in and file return as explained above
You can also use "Offline Returns" available under RET menu or under 'Download' link of ACES website; fill it in and upload to ACES.

05 October 2011 Dear Sir,
Earlier we was doing return file manually. This is first time we are doing E-Return File.

I got my user id and password, but they will not allow me to go on RET. They allow to go on REG in that i got Three option 1.Fill non Assessee 2. FIll ST 1 for 3. Change Password.
So Sir where i will go for further procedure?
