Dear Experts,
One of our client has already registered with Service tax for "RENTING OF IMMOVABLE PROPERTY SERVICE". Now is has started a new "RESTAURANT SERVICE".
My doubt here is, should he get a new registration or he can do the amendment in the existing ST - 2.

Need to amend the existing registration.

Dear Rawther,
If an assessee starts providing a new service other than services for which he is already registered then,amendment to registration certificate is required. However, obtaining fresh certificate is not required.
