Dear Members,
i want to know if my company Received advance rent before 01/6/2007. service tax liability arise or not. if property outlet on 16/nov/2006, and advance rent Received on 1/nov/2006........... plz reply soon as possible ,

tax liability has been arise on the date of receiving payment of service (before finance act 2011 amendment) hence if, on the date of receiving payment rent cover under the service tax on which service tax is payable then you are liable o/w not.
