Service tax on buffet in restaurant

23 December 2013 Hello Friends

If a company organizes a gathering of its employees in a restaurant(air conditioned)and asks for BUFFET MEAL facility from restaurant owner. Then at what rate service tax will be charged and under which service it will be covered. Pl provide the reference of the latest notification.

23 December 2013 gross rate 12.36% and abatement as applicable will be applied so net around 3-4% it will be applied.

23 December 2013 Dear Tushar,

Pl provide an exact rate and notification if u can. I am bit confused about the abatement that's why have posted a query over here. I m also well informed that the "ABATEMENT AS APPLICABLE" will only apply.
