Is service Tax registration Limit extended from 10 Lakh to 20 Lakh?

Service tax registration limit is Rs.9 lakhs. incase your turnover or gross receipts exceeds Rs.9 lakhs need to take service tax registration

Registration limit is not enhanced. The present law is if aggregate value of taxable service in a financial year exceeds NINE lakh rupees, registration is mandatory.

The minimum turnover should be 9 lacs for registration. Minimum limit of payament of ST is 10 lacs and till to-day it is 10 lacs there is no enhancement of this limit. If you have crossed both the minimum limits then it is better to get the registration and make the payment as soon as possible to avoid interest and penalty
