25 April 2012 dear sir,
we have raised service tax bill in march month, as per service tax rule service tax payment will be pay in next month 5th day. but what is due date for march month.

25 April 2012 31st March vide 3rd proviso to rule 6(1) of the Service Tax Rules,1994.

AS PER SERVICE TAX RULE, IF WE HAVE TO RAISE BILL WITH IN 14 DAYS AFTER SERVICE PROVIDED. THIS RULE DAYS ARE SAME OR CHANGE FOR RAISE BILL

26 April 2012 Rules will remain same as your have already raised bill in the month of march and your liabilty for payment of service tax has already arised.
