One More thing Is Service Tax is Central Tax.
I am supplier of Jobwork if i making sale between other state what is percentage of service tax .If i am making within the state.what is the percentage of tax applicable.Why this both tax is paid to central Government.Is bifurcation of tax charged within the state and between other state paid to only central government.

Servie Tax & Excise is chaged Central Govt.
its not depend state or interstate. on Taxable transection its applicable.

Hi Ambika..
Your query s vague.. Service tax is not applicable on sales but on service. If you r rendering a taxable service,u r liable to pay service tax at 10.30% (general) irrespective of the state in which u render service ( except in J&K ).

Job work attracts Service tax, but some time it involve Works contract tax for the particular state. but still your quesrtion is not specfic, we unable to conclude
