is there any clause in income tax for refund of service tax deducted from the income of mutual fund distributors?
if so what is the procedure to claim the same

ya both are different but can we get the refund of service tax which mutual fund company has deducted from brokerage income?

No, you can not claim service tax refund. But you can claim deduction on service tax deducted as expenses against brokerage income.
