12 November 2013 do sole proprietor business require service registration please inform procedure. pl inform procedure for service tax for sole proprietary businessman

12 November 2013 if the turnover is in excess of Rs 9 lakhs, service tax registration is required if the businessman is offering taxable services.

Further, the business might also be required to register in case he is liable to pay service tax under reverse charge mechanism. Here no minimum turnover limit is applicable.
