10 June 2014 Dear Expert,

If any person during last F.Y. 2013-14 cross exemption limit of Rs.10.00 lack. so what should be procedure of deposit service tax & registration under service tax if he is providing taxable service. please explain in brief.

10 June 2014 reg is to be done once the gross amount exceeds rs 9 lakhs and when it exceeds rs 10 lakhs then need to pay service tax via online mode or through challan from bank.

10 June 2014 Dear Expert,

I know about the limit but the issue is that my friend ask me to file his ITR 2013-14 & he has no idea about service tax when recently I checked his bank statement i found his receipt of services goes above Rs. 15.00 lakh. so I have need your help. I wants to deposit ST liability & file his return . Can we take cenvat credit for F.Y. 2013-14 ? after registration of service tax in current year & also tell me how much penalty & intt. we should deposit. What should be the proper procedure to manage thing.
