If the power plant established in rice mill or sugar mill generates excess power than required.

can that excess power generated be sold without any restriction???

answer asap.

14 January 2014 depends on the provisions of the permission granted by the government...in come cases it is allowed...in some cases it is only for captive consumption...in certain schemes, option is provided to supply the excess units to discoms and adjust your own consumption bill against the value of units provided to discoms.

14 January 2014 I think my earlier answer covered the question...each state has his own way dealing with these things..they have their own rules and schemes..thats why u need to check under which law a particular plant has been put up.
