21 April 2015 Is it essential to go through supplementary study paper of taxation to know the reason for amendments or it can be ignored and amendments as given in latest study module should only be read and reason thereof could be ignored. please tell as I am self studying from module provided by icai

There must have remained a purpose in publishing and supplying a Supplementary Study Paper. If the amendments have been covered in the latest study material, then also, a comparative study will let us know the earlier position and reasons behind the amendments. The time invested in this exercise will result in improve the answering capacity of practical problems and case law based problems.

21 April 2015 I think you must study supplementary specially for tax..because it contains all changes specifically which helps you to study well....For exam purpose its really important
