06 September 2012 Whether a company engaged in providing security services is liable to pay service tax on on full gross receipt or on 75% of receipt service receiver is liable and on 25% of receipt service provider is liable?

07 September 2012 w.e.f.7/8/2012 security service is a service under RCM. If service provider is individual, Hindu Undivided Family or partnership firm, whether registered or not, including association of persons, located in the taxable territory providing service to a corporate business entity you need to charge 25% of service tax and the receiver company shall have to pay 75%.

If you are not individual, Hindu Undivided Family or partnership firm, whether registered or not, including association of persons or the receiver is not a register body corporate business entity which is located in taxable territory you need to pay service tax @ 12.36%

09 September 2012 In case of a Company providing Security Service no Service tax would be paid by the Service Receiver uner Reverse Charge say Eg : G4S Security services.
