To search and download Form 23ACA (Profit and Loss Account) filed with the Registrar of Companies (ROC), follow these steps:
Procedure for Searching Form 23ACA (Profit and Loss Account) in ROC Go to the MCA Website:
Visit the official Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) portal: https://www.mca.gov.in/.
Login to the MCA Portal:
You need to log in to the portal if you already have an account. If not, you need to register.
Click on "Login" at the top-right corner.
Payment for Document Search:
After logging in, go to the "MCA Services" section and choose the option "View Public Documents".
You need to make an online payment to access documents filed by companies. The charge for viewing documents is typically ₹50 per document.
Enter Company Details:
You will be asked to enter the Company Name or Corporate Identification Number (CIN).
After entering the details, the portal will show a list of documents filed by the company.
Search for Form 23ACA:
Under Annual Filing Forms, you can find forms like 23AC (Balance Sheet) and 23ACA (Profit and Loss Account).
If the company is a Private Limited Company, be aware that the Profit and Loss Account (Form 23ACA) may not be publicly available for download due to confidentiality restrictions.
For Private Limited Companies:
Form 23ACA (Profit and Loss Account) is not available for download publicly due to the Private Limited Company status.
For Public Limited Companies:
You will be able to download Form 23ACA (Profit and Loss Account) along with other annual financial statements.
Download the Form:
After making the payment, the system will allow you to download the Form 23ACA along with Form 23AC (if available).
No Availability for Private Limited Companies:
As mentioned, Form 23ACA for Private Limited Companies will not be available in most cases due to privacy concerns.
However, you can still view other public documents like the Balance Sheet (Form 23AC) or other filings by the company.
Other Notes: Public Limited Companies are required to file their Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Account publicly, and you can access these documents online.
Private Limited Companies are generally not required to disclose detailed profit and loss statements for public viewing. However, the Balance Sheet (Form 23AC) is still available.
Annual Filings like Form 23AC and Form 23ACA are typically filed within 30 days from the date of the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM).
If you're still unable to access Form 23ACA for a Private Limited Company, it might be due to the company’s private status which restricts access to certain documents. However, for public companies, you can easily retrieve such documents by following the above steps.
