Scrutiny letter from it department

18 May 2016 Hi

We had receive a scrutiny letter from IT department for FY 2011-12 in FY 2013-14. We had submitted all the documents as was requested. How do i know if the case is closed or not.

18 May 2016 you can go personally or write a letter to the concerned authority, requesting to intimate you about the status of your case.

18 May 2016 Thank you for quick reply.
We have changed the auditors and in between not sure exactly what happened. Generally will the department send any scrutiny closure letter to the company.

18 May 2016 Generally speaking, the department has a time limit to complete the scrutiny assessment. At the conclusion, department passes Assessment Order under section 143(3). This must have been passed before March 2015 only. The Authorised Representative, appearing on your behalf must have collected the same from the department.
Even now also, you can go and ask for the copy of the same. (Handle the situation a little cautiously and tactfully)
