respected sir,
i am a civil contractor and during ay 2013-14 my gross receipts are amounting to rs 40 laks and i offered 8% income under sec 44ad and filed form 4s for ay 2013-14.and now the ito asked for bank occount information and about cash deposits made in bank occount.
at the time of filing form 4s i have disclosed cash in hand as 24,000.
i want to know is, as the income is disclosed under sec -44ad ,where the maitainance of books of occounts is exemted ,now can i produce fresh figures of sundry debtors and cash balance before ITO (stating as actual figures )?

No you cannot give fresh figures of sundry debtors and cash balance since you have entered these figures in ITR 4S already while filing your return so it will be verified by ITO with your return.

i think if we submitt revised values with audited report according to the sec 44a ,new figures are valid
