Please tell me whether schedule VI of the Companies Act is applicable to NBFC. If no also tell me is there any specific exemption. If it is applicable why exemption is given from filing annual accounts in XBRL format.

Schedule VI is applicable to all companies whether public or private,except to any insurance/banking/electricity company.Pl refer section 211 and 616 of the Companies Act,1956
