29 November 2021 My father had significant income for FY 20-21 and he was alive for the entire FY.

He just passed away a month back and I would like to pay SAS for the income he earned for FY 20-21.

I just want to confirm that I need to pay SAS under my fathers PAN and not the representative assesse's PAN

29 November 2021 FIRST YOU NEED TO REGISTER AS LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR YOUR DECEASED FATHER.
THEN YOU CAN PAY SAT UNDER HIS PAN.

29 November 2021 I will register as Legal rep and then file my fathers tax return.
But to pay SAS on TIN website, do I still need to wait for the approval as legal rep?
