Hi,
I want to import goods in India to Delhi from abroad. then I'l sell the imported goods in U.p. Will i be charged sales tax/Vat twice..?? If Yes, how can i solve this problem...??

Hi
after the VAT introduced there is no sales tax from 2005 onwords .
now sales tax means it is only entry tax
delhi also fall under UP only .
therefore you need to charge VAT only . if it is interstate then it is CST
