Dear all,
Please help me in understanding the consolidated statement regarding profit& Loss statement.
in the ledger account given by the client there are some transactions like Payin and payout and inter segment Adjustment, Margin Trf to main A/c.
what are the above terms, please guide me in understanding the same at the earliest

Payin is the amount paid by investor.
Payout is amount received by investor. Inter segment adjustment is funds adjusted between F&O and cash segments.
Margin transfer to main A/c is margin transferred from F&O to cash ac.

Yes it is Futures & options for which only margin money has to be paid.
Cash segment is purchase and sale of shares for which full payment has to be made.
