04 October 2020 Is it mandatory to pay tax and file GSRR1 & 3B if we sell products online through ECO who is required to deduct TCS ?? As one executive of Amazon customer support team has told that they have already paid GST on behalf of seller and seller need not pay any tax.

If anyone knows, pls help . I appreciate the information and advice you will share. I wanted to thank you as soon as possible.

04 October 2020 If you sell products then you have to take compulsory registration under GST as per section 24. However, if you are supplying only services then you can claim exemption from registration, if your aggregate turnover is less than prescribed amount and subject to other conditions. If you are supplying goods then you have to take registration.
Coming to the Tax Component, E commerce Operator only pays tax @ 1% which means you have to pay the remaining amount of tax
