An Indian citizen travels abroad for employment after 1st of October 2013. How is his tax liability calculated in India for the income he received in the foreign country (covered under DTAA) for the AY 2014-15?
What is the IT return he needs to file, can it be done online?

return can be filed online. rather if the income is above 5 lakhs, it has to be filed online only.
with regards to reflection of the incomes and tax credit in tax returns, the income shall be shown as Schedule S of Sheet "Part B- TI-TTI-Sal". Then you need to reflect the same in sheet "FSI". For claiming tax credit in TR-FA sheet.
remember you need to file ITR2 assuming there is no business income
